One of the reasons I'm committed to working from home is that it affords me the luxury of energy-saving choices with regards to my business. For example, I don't have air-conditioning (a fact that may bother some clients), but I also use all-natural detergent and fabric softener, and air-dry my sheets from April to October.
On the other side of the clothesline is the beginning of my home orchard. NOTE: this is a very old picture of my permaculture garden.
I recently brought in four feral kittens to foster... and they appear to be mine now. They have the run of the house... except they aren't allowed in my treatment room. I generally clean before clients, but if you're allergic to cats please let me know; I can easily do an extra vacuum in the entryway.
